Sorry, but on wikiloc, where I can see the dirt paths to do with the motor-bike, in reality they are designed differently.
Here in the legend the dirt road is marked as two parallel dotted lines, on wikiloc there is always and only one line, longer brown, shorter red: has the way of indicating the paths changed?
Admin:
It has not changed, it's just that each map maker decides how to represent map elements. If you look at OpenStreetMap site, paths are represented different from wikiloc and mine.

Bob (Australia)
Looking at Garmin line legends. how does one (say) distinguish a sealed/paved vs unsealed secondary road?
Admin:
Hi Bob, sorry for the delay
Currently there's no way to distinguish them. In most places a secondary road is supposed to be paved, but I know that's not true in all countries.

Is there a way to reduce the detail clutter on the Australian map when using BaseCamp?
Admin:
In BaseCamp (as well as in MapSource) you can select several different levels of detail. You have to enable "Level of detail" toolbar under "View" menu.
